Tips to stay safe and healthy but save money in cold weather:
1. Wear a heavy coat, hat and scarf while outside.
2. Keep the heating in the home at around twenty degrees celcius.
3. Drink hot drinks such as coffee, hot chocolate and tea.
4. Keep your curtains drawn during the day to keep the heat in.
5. Try and avoid alcohol as it will reduce your body temperature.
6. Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
7. Eat lots of dark chocolate.
8. Eat lots of pasta and rice.
9. Try to stay active and go for walks.
10. Lie on the couch with the fire on and a warm drink and watch a movie.
